See, Salt and Sound was
a cultural event which ran in September 2008
at the Beach Ballroom
and Surrounding area in Aberdeen
SS+S involved all art forms, and showcased the
wealth of talent and expertise abounding in the North-east of Scotland.
Timed
to coincide with major festival NEOS, and acting as the flagship
for this group in the city of Aberdeen, the project took its inspiration
from the sea a truly inspirational and relevant theme to the North-east.
The aim was to present all aspects of the sea and
seafaring in both modern times and historical, through the mediums of
visual arts,
dance, drama, story telling, poetry and music.
